Bigfork Heating & Cooling, LLC is a locally owned and operated HVAC company. We are currently a single technician operation in Bigfork, MT that services the Flathead Valley.

My name is Kevin Holzwarth. I’m a fifth generation Montanan, married and blessed with two wonderful children. I grew up in Billings, Montana and started my career in the construction industry, learning everything from framing to finish carpentry. I then began a 7-year career as a Wireline Engineer doing work in oilfields across the country. In 2018, in an effort to travel less and be nearer to our favorite hobbies, skiing and boating, our family made the decision to move to the beautiful Flathead Valley and I left my career in the oil industry. That experience, however, with electrical troubleshooting, explosives and pressurized systems has given me the base knowledge to be successful in the heating and cooling industry.

As I learned the HVAC trade these last years, I learned that I like working with people. I enjoy seeing their sigh of relief when I fix their problem. I have never been in a line of work where I felt like I was truly helping people. Starting my own business has allowed me to operate in a manner that was unavailable when I worked for a large HVAC franchise. I don’t believe in gimmicks; I believe in communicating honestly with customers to find out what they need and how I can best help them. Simple, transparent, quality work aimed at helping the community where we live.
